I have been a seamstress for over 50 years starting in middle school with simple clothing and Christmas gifts. I made my own wedding gown and found that during our years in the military at Ft. Benning and Hood sewing saved us money on clothing and goods. I was even able to sell to others and bring in extra money. Since then I have made wedding gowns, baptism outfits and historic clothing for museu

ms and reenactors. As an educator for 25 years I found the teaching of sewing lacking in the the school systems and began teaching children as young as 5 how to sew. When my grandchildren came along I found sewing for them was fun and economical by recycling their parents clothing. I enjoy the challenge of recycling quality clothing and goods into one of a kind items.

Survior dolls with their cats named Hope. They come in all colors. Their soxs are hand painted, they wear cute little pantaloons, some have funky hair while others wear hats. Each wear a ribbon on their collar to signify the cancer they have over come. Dolls are cotton, hand stitched joints and poly filled. Cats recycled sweaters. Comment if interested.
