Hi friends! We are so grateful for all of the love and support we have received already!! As we get closer to opening, we wanted to share a little about us and how we came to be💖
Buttons and Bows Boutique TN started as a dream in 2021, officially established by two best friends in the new year of 2022. Nicole and Jamie met in early 2019, when they blindly jumped into sharing a booth space at a popular baby expo in Franklin, TN.
Nicole is the owner of Buttons Baby Bowtique, and focuses on high quality handmade hair accessories. Her passion is providing quality and customer service that the small shop world has never seen before. Buttons Baby Bowtique, better known as BBB, was founded in 2017 after the birth of Nicole’s first son, Joseph. As an established cosmetologist & esthetician, Nicole was determined to quit her career that she adored, but was full of long work days and weekends. She knew what she had to do so she could stay home with her baby and future babies. BBB and it’s name was heavily inspired by Nicole’s grandmother, Marcella, who owned a small children’s boutique in her hometown of DeWitt, Iowa. Her children’s boutique was named Buttons and Bows and was the sole inspiration behind naming our combined boutique.
Jamie is the owner of Oh Baby Boutique and focuses on handmade heirloom quality children’s clothing. She began her business in 2015 shortly after the birth of her daughter, Lily, with a focus on crib bedding and baby quilts. Over the years, her business morphed into a clothing business and she hasn’t looked back. In 2020 when Lily started Kindergarten she was able to quit her full time corporate job to per-sue her biggest dream. Jamie enjoys creating custom children’s clothing with a focus on beautiful florals with a dash of whimsy.
They quickly realized after working together and uplifting each other in their own small businesses, that they could create something really amazing if they joined forces. While both great at their craft, Jamie is amazing with the organization and administrative side of business, while Nicole excels at the social and creative aspect of being a small business owner.
Nicole, with 3 children and Jamie with 1, currently run full-time online stores and Facebook VIP groups with their own businesses. They have officially combined to open up Buttons & Bows Boutique TN, in addition to their current boutiques!
