This is one of those projects that makes my heart happy to work on. My best girl graduated a couple weeks ago and each senior at her school had a table of special memories for viewing after the ceremony. I'm so honored to have worked on this with her. We brainstormed together to decide what was important to her and I went to work!

She told me it was perfectly her, which is all that mattered to me!!

There are tons of sites that offer daily/weekly/monthly prompts to fit many styles. So spend a little time to see what's out there and make your journal time great for YOU!

Piece 3 of the 5 I started with finally done! This table was given to me and would make a nice small desk or console table. I love the whimsical pop of color from the fabric in the drawers.

and I had fun going abstract on these samples for ! In the smaller one, we did the flower with our texture art technique. I love creating with Tammy and trying new things at the workshop! If you're a DIY-er come take a class - they are always a good time!

Project #2 from my furniture post last week. This was a find from and I LOVE this table. This was my first time working with - the color is Renfrew Blue - and it went on like a dream! I used transfers on the top and sealed with Exterior 450.

I plan to keep this beauty for myself- but I'm not sure where just yet. I'm wanting to create a quiet corner with a comfy chair and I think this table will be perfect for that!

This roadside find is RED-y for a new life! I use Debi's Design Diary paint, which is one of my faves! On top of that is Dixie Belle white wax to seal. I plan to use this for a booth in the future, maybe.

One of my favorite places to be creative is the at . I've worked in there for over 10 years now, and they let me run wild with my ideas! I feel so blessed to be a part of this ministry and a church that supports us so well!
