Knitted and Hand embroidered items coming soon. Wouldn't you love to gift your friends , family with a keepsake? Making something with my hands has always been so satisfying. It all started with my home economics class in high school. Sewing gave me much pleasure in my young married life also. Seeing Polly Flinders smocked little girls dresses made me want to learn hand smocking. Fast forward, wan

ting to hand smock my grandchildren's dedication gowns more recently, gave me an immense sense of leaving a very personal part of myself for them and their children. After retiring from hospice nursing, I found that crochet, knitting, hand embroidery were also something that I really enjoyed. Some may say," That's a lost art isn't it?" and " Can't I buy it done by machine cheaper?" Both answers are yes, but you may never see some of the patterns I crochet anywhere else. Hand made means so much more to those you gift with these items. I can do custom colors to match a baby nursery, a child's bedroom, favorite colors, winter beanies of all sizes, scarves, afghans, lap robes, prayer shawls, baby booties; whatever type of item you'd want, let me know and we'll discuss whether I can make it for you or not. Paypal, visa, debit card all accepted.

Handmade says I Love You!

All my life I’ve been bathed in the presence of Jesus thanks to my mom primarily and my dad secondarily. I asked Jesus into my heart and repented of my sins at age 9. My greatest fear was going to hell for my sins. At age 22-23 I publicly re-dedicated my life to Jesus as my understanding of his love for me was much more profound. I was so thankful and still am.

Most of you know me. Know my story. But in case you are new here, let me tell you about myself. Firstly, I’m a Christian, not perfect, just forgiven. I’m a wife to my senior high school sweetheart. It’s a second marriage for me. I’m a mother to 4 grown children. 3 women, one man. I am grandmother to many, blood related and not. I’m great-grandmother to 5. My career was in nursing. Registered nurse for 38+ years. I’d like you all to get to know me. I began crocheting and knitting when I retired. I love it. More to come….

What’s on the hook tonight? This is a lace crochet pattern by Kirsten Holloway. It’s very versatile and given enough imagination one can make it into whatever you wish. For example: a Bible cover, a purse, a scarf, etc. The peachy color of this yarn is actually more peachy than it appears. Hope I’ve peaked your curiosity. Keep in touch to see the finished product.
