Pigg & Peach Pigg & Peach was a landmark men's clothing store on the corner of 4th and Main Street in downtown Franklin.

Founded in 1949, Pigg & Peach was the cornerstone of Downtown Franklin retail for over 50 years. It was more than a men's clothing store; it was a hitching post for the emerging community long before malls and ebay stretched our lives elsewhere. I wanted to tell you about an article I found in an old copy of the Tennessean (March 18) "Owner of gun ammo company ok's for state board of education board." The Legislature approved the appointment 71-14.
