Our Goodwill AI Networking Summit is helping hundreds of PA nonprofits and regional Goodwills from all over the U.S. gain confidence with tech tools in order to ultimately serve more people.

Leaders from major technology companies, including OpenAI and Microsoft, gathered Tuesday for a summit focused on the future of AI.

🌊 GOODWILL KEYSTONE COSTUME CONTEST WEEK 1: THE ODYSSEY! ⚔️

What an epic journey! Our store teams set sail with The Odyssey this week, and every costume was built from items found right on their own Goodwill Keystone racks.

🏆 WINNER: Elizabethville! This crew brought the whole legend to life, with kings and warriors, gods and goddesses in flower crowns, and a wise old wanderer with his staff. Congratulations to our Goodwill Store & Donation Center Elizabethville team!

👏 RUNNERS-UP: Our Kendig Square team brought a sea king, a warrior, and sirens straight out of the deep, and our Phoenixville team sent in a battle-ready hero and a bow-wielding queen worthy of Ithaca!
Congrats to all of our store teams who joined the adventure! 🏛️

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our mini thrift shop on Sunday. We had band tees at just $5 each, and we loved seeing your finds - from Dolly to Nirvana to NSYNC, and so much more.

A huge thank you to I 105 WIOV for having us, and to our amazing team who made it happen, especially our Goodwill Store & Donation Center team! And congrats to everyone who won tickets by entering at our stores, and to our very own employee VIP winners.

It's been a few GOOD weeks in our local communities! 💛

We had a blast at West Chester University's Sustainability Showcase - our sustainability basketball game was a slam dunk!

A big thank you to Newtown Grant HOA for hosting a One Stop Drop donation event, and to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for having us at their Donation Drive Fundraiser.

Community support helps your neighbors thrive. Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and helped make these events happen!

Guest Post by on Instagram - The early bird gets the worm, or that’s how the saying goes. But, at Goodwill Keystone Area stores, the shelves and racks are continuously restocked all day. You don’t have to be there first thing in the morning to find the best items. Goodwill staff members continually bring out bins of wares and racks of clothing to replace items as they are sold. My sister spied this whimsical giant blue chicken moments after it was placed on the shelf. I collect blue garden accents, so as you can see from the photo, I was very excited. Then my niece found the baby red chicken to be its friend. So no need to rush - shop when you can and see what you can find.

Guest Post by .e.h on Instagram - Occasionally I'll find something at Goodwill that I mostly like, but find that part of it needs to be fixed or upgraded. I stumbled across this lamp at Goodwill for $10 recently, and fell in love with the lampshade. The base was a very early 2000's creamy white with random brush strokes all over it to give it a faux aged look. Not quite my style! So I ran to a hardware store to buy a cheap sample size of a pretty blue paint, and made it more my style. I love the end result!

Guest Post by on Instagram -Recently, I came across a new-with-tags Coach bag at Goodwill, and it made my thrifty heart happy! Coach may not be the highest-end handbag brand anymore - there are plenty of other designer bags out there - but Coach still has a place in my wardrobe as some of the first thrifted bags I discovered when shopping at Goodwill Keystone Area stores. Coach was founded in 1941 as the Manhattan Leather Bag company. The founders were impressed with the design of baseball gloves and were inspired to create a bag with similar attributes - supple, high-quality leather, excellent stitch work, and craftsmanship. This crossbody bag in the blossom color retailed for $298. My $19.99 investment from Goodwill was worth it!

For this reason, it's all the more exciting when a space starts coming together! When working on our bedroom a couple weeks ago, I found the most perfect gingham throw blanket for $2.99 at Goodwill to place on the bench at the foot of our bed. I'm a big fan of not impulse-buying new things, but instead keeping a list on my phone of things I need or want to look out for while thrifting. I have found so many perfect items at Goodwill that fit both my needs AND matched my aesthetic - for an incredible deal, too.
