My story is long and enough of it is unbelievable that I won’t bore you with all the details.

My first job as an adult was in the design room of Frank Lee of California as a patternmaker in Los Angeles. A few years later, I literally fell into my first adult business with $50 and ol faithful, a rent to own leather walking foot sewing machine. That sewing machine lifted my small family out of poverty. I have honestly sewn hundreds of miles making show winning leather Porsche interiors. So I

have done a few things in my life including Blue Rose Pet Salon and Green Dragon Farms. With Oakenfoot, ‘ol faithful and I have been making custom fit buffalo moccasins. I love the smell and hand of top quality leather. These moccasins are done right, resole-able, no detail escapes me. It's a heart song to sew long lasting footwear that fits the first time my customers step into their new shoes. Thank you for supporting a small business. Linda Robredo

Sneek peek.... the large Octagon (23' diagonal across). Photos of 20-year old Underhill large Octagon, it's is a 'tension pavilion' without horizontal poles. We are excited to have this opportunity to make the new large Octagon for Jiva with Oakenfoot brand details, flags.
This morning spoke with Ember regarding them also gaining a large Octagon pavilion. NICE.
Yes, the word got out.
They will arrive with the new improved heavy duty J-stakes (also soon to be available on the website-->Pavilions and Parts)

OH I so want to show you but will wait... Oakenfoot has a few new amazing things coming along.... improved solid steel stakes, Pavillions including a very large Octagon.... When they are on the website --- I'll be sharing photos here as well. So excited.
Drum rolling to shake up the 2026 season and so on.
The show will go on. The music and dance, the stage shows and magic will continue to fill visitors with smiles and joy.
I itch to post photos.... really fun stuff abreast.

This year we lost Will and now Michael. Both were originals from the way way back thru all the years of faire magic. One of the facts of life is while having dear elder friends that God will take them to sky faire, leaving us with their memories.
Michael was such a sweet and kind man, funny with great positive stories of change and love. He was a simply guy, not fancy or money grabbing in any way. Decades of promotion of the “buck and mug” publication for each of southern and northern faires each season for theme stories, business ads, and faire family announcements. I visited with him at the reunion last month and briefly on dress rehearsal Sunday a couple weeks ago. He has been fragile for a number of years and frequently would sit and just visit at our booth (to catch his breath). Life time vegetarian, tall and very lean, a heart of gold, and ice blue eyes of kindness.
