This lovely bride came to me with the most unique request. She had a dress she already loved... She just wanted it longer. After finding the right fabric we removed the original skirt, added a new skirt and sewed the amazing hand embroidery back to the hem of the new skirt.

When Zoe came for her initial fitting she could not raise or bends her arms because the sleeves didn't fit correctly. We corrected this by taking up the shoulders. This song with a hem and bustle made her dress perfect. Better yet I got to work with Zoe again altering a vintage wedding dress for her reception and altering her mother and grandmother's dresses. I had a blast with all three ladies!

My one regret with this dress is that we didn't take a before picture. First I shortened the scalloped train, and hemmed the dress. Next I added sleeves( incorporating lace from the train), removed a beaded belt the bride didn't like and made a new lace belt. Finally I replaced the buttons on the back and added a bustle. I had so much fun working with this beautiful bride!
