The reality of vintage hunting isn’t always glamorous. I found my dream 60s Afghan coat, but it came with some… uninvited guests. Don’t worry, they’re dead, but my bug phobia is very much alive!!! 💀

🌟 Lesson one: Always check your natural fiber garments! I would have still bought this item even with the dead bugs, but not everybody would.
🌟 Lesson 2: This is exactly why vintage prices reflect more than just the item—you’re paying for the hours of freezing, cleaning, and meticulous restoration.

⭐️ This thrift trip was officially over once I found this 30s/40s brown silk velvet dress with lace details. My job is done. I can do home now.

This happens about once a year thrifting weekly will I find something this old. At first I thought it was a Betsey Johnson repo but it’s an original. 😳 💀

🚗 ♥️ Took a trip to the country and found so many cute vintage slips! I really hit the jackpot. They were all priced separately but had some matching pairs. Even an Olga slip and robe! If you know you know. 💅

❄️ Antique 1920s deco off white velvet opera cape with bow. Length is past the hips so it covers the body nicely. Possibly made of silk velvet and fully lined. It’s pure winter glamour at its best!

One size.

Excellent vintage condition, small stain on the inside on lining. Due to the nature of the velvet it’s hard to tell if there are any discolorations. It’s an off white to cream and has been hand washed.
