So let's chat about a little rumor that has made it's way to us several times now...
As many times as I've been asked I have to assume that many more have heard the rumor as well, so I thought I would address it here so you know the truth.
- What's the rumor you ask? That I've sold the business.
So the truth.....
NO I have not sold the business. We were in talks with a couple that approached us about this but that did not move forward. So am I open to it YES. However at this moment I do not have it actively listed for sale. Will that come - yes, and probably sooner rather than later. I've been at this a long time, and am entering a season of life that I'm ready for a little less on my plate. I've made no secret that my days in this industry are nearing an end. When exactly that will be I'm not sure. But next year the business will celebrate it's 30th anniversary and my personal 25th, so I'd say I have my time in ;) When the time does come, it'll be a hard transition for me personally, as I love my job and my community! I've had such great opportunities to be part of some of the biggest things in town and in individual journeys. You've trusted me with some of your biggest moments and I've gained so many great relationships.
With all that being said, you now know the truth of where we stand. I'm here to serve you to the best of my ability as normal. When the time comes to pass the torch, I will be here to make that a smooth transition so everyone will have confidence in the next chapter. If you think that's you - come chat, I'm open to conversation. But as of now I am not actively seeking a buyer.
