We are excited to announce our Summer Loc’d Hair Training Program!

Whether you’re looking to start your journey as a loctician or sharpen your existing skills, our classes are designed to help you grow at your own pace and within your budget.

From mindset and professionalism to retwists, starter locs, repairs, styling, and business building, you’ll gain the knowledge, hands-on experience, and confidence needed to succeed.

Individual Classes: $100 Each
Complete 6-Week Program: $550
3-Hour Classes Starting June 15

Looking for advanced training? Our Wick & Combination Locs Class is offered separately on Wednesdays.

This client’s wicks were originally started by another loctician, and today was his first root retouch with me.

When you’re a transfer client with existing wicks, there are typically two options:
• Maintain the current foundation and parting pattern
• Restructure the foundation and parts if desired and appropriate

In this case, we chose to maintain the existing foundation.

One thing to understand about mature wicks is that once hair has fully embedded into the loc, I do not pull hair apart or aggressively redefine parts just to create a “perfect” look. Instead, I clean up the loose hair around the foundation while preserving the integrity of the loc.

My goal is always a healthy, strong, and sturdy foundation, not unrealistic perfection.

Healthy locs will always outperform perfectly clean parts.
