I know we have a lot of projects with our old house, but I decided to tackle this door. I had originally painted it green with the rest of the room, but I decided it would be easy to remove the paint and stain it. The door is old, like original to the house old, and had so many layers of paint and stain that a weekend job turned out to a week and a half job. It's not perfect, nor should it be, but it brings some warmth to the room and preserves the history of the house.
