For anyone interested, the pencil bow door hanger will be $75. That includes wording if you want me to to vinyl them. It is jumbo sized at 22 inches across the top and 24 inches from knot to eraser bottom. These can be any color and don’t have to be pencils.

I’ve also made this eagle door hanger and would love to try other mascots/teams. My next one will have an erasable board instead of the name so that’s an option. These are $100.

Door hangers are handmade by me completely. I have to account for time, materials, and quality. They’re totally worth it 😉

Lilly thinks my next one needs to be pink since it’s summer and I’m not a teacher yet 😊

Want to talk quilts???

This is one of my “bucket list” quilts. Before I was old enough to sew with my mom, I adored the old timey, civil war era quilts. Think “Americana”, but with a homey and passed down feeling. I decided to go more a tad more patriotic and chose a book titled The Union Loyalist Sampler. Each block has a special meaning to the Underground Railroad or at least that era of quilters.

I’ve been working on this bad boy for almost a year now. That’s why things are quiet around here. I have 99 blocks done and 22 left to go. They’re small at 6inx6in each! Quilting something this large and intricate takes a lot of time, fabric, and patience. Once I’m done with the blocks, I still have borders, backing, quilting, and binding to do!

I have time for baby quilts or shoes, and memory bears if anyone is in need. And I’m always up for discussions and questions if you’re looking to create something special!
