We have exciting news from our corner of the world! 🐝
Over the course of our first year at The Ramblin’ Bee that we love so much, we had tremendous growth, from every front! Our online world exploded last summer, markets were rolling well, and our community showed up to support time and time again. With your love, we ended up bursting at our seams. We outgrew our honey house in under a year!
Within these walls, we have our shop front, office, shipping station, inventory, honey operation, and our massive amount of beeswax candle molds that are filled daily. By the luck of some stars, the building around the corner from the shop came up for grabs and with shaky boots, I leapt at the opportunity to expand with the growth we're experiencing. We are grateful to now have a larger kitchen (with windows!: for our honey operation and a larger area for shipping work.
The new place is a spacious historic home in our downtown area. We wanted to bring the space to life and for it to help our community in some way. I sat with that for awhile asking what I thought my community was lacking. I decided to make the little store front in the house a refill and low waste store. The goal being to offer a cost and eco friendly option for your home's needs. We want this space to feel welcoming and inclusive as possible, so let us know what YOU want to see! We are currently stocking up on eco friendly cleaning products, bulk herbs, personal care items, and earth friendly goods. Whether you are completely zero waste, or you have a spare pickle jar you want filled, come see us! Our grand opening will be this Earth Day, April 22nd from 11-5. The Ramblin' Bee and The Bee’s Knees Refill & Low Waste Store will have the same hours so you'll always be able to buzz on by both shops! We couldn't be more excited to share this space with y'all! We have so much planned for this space, so we hope you'll follow along with us!
Special thanks to Marissa DeLarosa for the new shop's kick ass logo
and to ML Consulting for marketing this new venture and whipping up a pretty new website for us
