After 46years and 11 months today Carriage Cleaners has a new owner. Clint French is taking over. He has worked with me for 22 years and is excited to move into this new role. It is time for me to seek more of the everyday is a Saturday life. I have been very blessed with all the support from my home town and surrounding community. Many thousands of customers. Wonderful people, many of whom were your parents and grandparents and great grandparents. Thank you for giving us a try and sticking with us. So blessed with about 75 employees over the
years that I could not have made it without. Several worked with me for around 18-20 years. You spend so much time with your coworkers that they become family and friends for life. Hopefully I have treated people fairly over the years. It is a challenge at times and I am not perfect to say the least.
I will miss seeing my customers. I’ll be around for a while to help Clint between my travels.
Small business is full of many monsters. I could not have survived this long without my wife and partner of 48 years Patty hanging in there with me. She has always had my back in so many ways.
Best of luck to Clint. He will do well. Always strive to take care of your employees and customers and they will take care of you.
