Unwavering dedication and warmth are just a few of the words to describe Mona. She was bright and witty, always kind and wearing a smile. Loving and caring. She was so wise and informative about everything. Not necessarily because she had experienced it, but because she was intuitive and desired to know things and would study these things to learn more. She could take a manual and operate new equipment and I know she could change electrical outlets and faucets for herself. She had determination when it came to changes and challenges. She was not going to be outdone. She was devoted to Stitches and many times after
long hours to push out an order, she would still be there late doing the paper work.
She has been a cancer warrior multiple times and we have seen her fight with grace and a positive attitude. She was one of the toughest ladies we have ever known.
Mona stayed with Stitches as long as she could but I think she was finally satisfied that we could do this without her. After all
she had raised us. We are all smarter and tougher and more conscientious of work and just things in general because of the example she set for us. We have missed her since she retired but we knew she was still cheering us on. She was that person. ❤️
