A dear friend of mine asked me to make a purse strap that would fit onto a bag that held a lot of meaning to her.
The gorgeous leather bag belonged to her sister who passed away not long ago, so I knew the strap had to be really special.
She told me to make whatever I wanted to and that she trusted my judgement. No pressure. 😬
I hid various shades of blue hearts throughout a whimsical swirl and added some color with a teal liner.
With a little help, I was able to find out what her sister’s initials were and incorporated them into the bottom of one side with a little heart beside it so she is always carrying her sister with her everywhere she goes.
Over the weekend, I ran into her at a local greenhouse and decided to snap a few pictures of it! 💙
