Make it known Monday!
Dropping a little truth about me.
Part of the reason I started this journey with Savvi is because I wanted motivation for my journey to a healthier me. The way I’ve chosen to get healthy is by cutting way back on carbs and eliminating processed foods and sugar from my diet. I follow a clean (at least as clean as possible) version of the Ketogenic diet. It may not be for everyone, but it works for me, because it helps eliminate the inflammation that wrecks my joints, affects my energy and focus and generally makes me feel gross. I don’t just eat cheese amd butter. I include healthy cuts of healthy beef, free range chicken, wild caught fish and responsibly raised pork and lots of green leafy veggies. Berries with a low glycemic index (blackberries, raspberries and strawberries) and occasionally some dark chocolate as a treat (78% cocoa or more). I also include Intermittent Fasting for the anti aging benefits(which help combat loose skin after weight loss). I also need to start working out again. My motivation on that front has not been so good, but I’m really trying to get moving more. As a mom of two teenagers with crazy busy activity schedules, workouts are hard to fit in, but I will prevail! My Savvi sisters are so encouraging and supportive and when you are a woman, having supportive women in your life is EVERYTHING!!!
