Sardo proudly celebrated a major milestone on March 22, 2026, with the groundbreaking of its new 30,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Minneola, Florida. This expansion represents a bold step forward in enhancing the customer experience, enabling faster turnaround times, greater service flexibility, cost efficiency and the same high standard of quality for motorcoach and transit interior solutions.
The ceremony brought together company leadership led by Lou and Jeanie Sardo and community partners to commemorate the beginning of construction on the state-of-the-art facility. The new factory is expected to enhance production capabilities, improve operational efficiency, and support increasing demand for products and services.
Once completed, the facility will feature advanced manufacturing technology, optimized workflows, and space to support future expansion. The new facility will significantly enhance the company’s ability to serve its customers by introducing expanded on-site capabilities and increased service flexibility. With dedicated space for interior work, Sardo will now be able to perform full bus interior reupholstery services directly at its Minneola location, reducing turnaround times and improving overall service efficiency.
In addition to its in-house capabilities, the company is expanding its mobile road crew services, allowing technicians to provide high-quality upholstery repairs and refurbishments directly at customer locations. This expanded offering gives customers more options, minimizes downtime, and ensures fleets can return to service faster.
Our goal is to make it easier and faster for our customers to maintain and upgrade their fleet. By combining on-site services with enhanced mobile teams, we’re delivering greater flexibility, faster turnaround, and a higher level of service.
Local leaders expressed strong support for the project, recognizing its impact on the region. Photos and video from the event capture the excitement and significance of this milestone.
Construction is expected to be completed by the end of the year, with operations beginning shortly thereafter.
