Tha Carter III: June 10th, 2008

This is one of the last albums I can recall having a big impact on me and being genuinely excited for. Hard to believe this was 16 years ago. A few songs on this album are definitely still in constant rotation.

From someone who primarily specializes and listens to a lot of 90’s East Coast hip-hop, I definitely get some hate for my love for Wayne…but it’s still Mixtape Weezy over a lot other rappers >
