I’ve always had a soft spot for peridot …that earthy green glow that somehow feels both fresh and timeless. It’s one of the oldest known gemstones, once believed to ward off nightmares and bring protection and prosperity to its wearer.

Peridot is August’s birthstone, but honestly, it’s a gem anyone can fall for. It’s said to bring peace, positivity, and a little extra sunshine wherever it goes.

Last night, after what’s felt like years of long days and heavy thoughts, I finally let my creativity run free for a bit. I needed to clear my head, so I did what always brings me back to myself — I sat down and started designing.

There’s something grounding about stringing each bead, one by one, and watching a new idea take shape. These new pieces feel like that — calm and balanced. This pair of earrings is made with authentic labradorite and opalite beads, anchored by a Petoskey stone in the center and stainless steel details so they’ll last. $28.
