Swahlee started with a simple conviction: that a good job can change a woman’s life.

We opened a workshop in Assam, India, trained young women to sew, and started making clothing from the natural handloom fabrics this part of the world has woven for generations.

Everything we make is designed for the woman who is already doing a lot — the one managing family, friendships, work and everything in between.

Pieces that are easy to reach for, easy to wear, and easy to feel good in. Getting dressed should be the simplest part of her day.
