Thirty years, and four to five looms later, weaving is a part of my life that I cannot imagine being without. Sitting at a loom and watching fabric grow like magic under my fingertips is a never-ending pleasure to me. Weaving has the power to be very relaxing or very demanding, depending on what I am working on. Using only my hands, feet, thread and a loom I can make fabric that can be used for so
mething as utilitarian as a wash cloth or towel, fine fabric for a garment, or as inticate as earrings made from sewing thread. Whether I am making washcloths or shawls, it is the joy of weaving that drives me. The ultimate compliment is one of my customers coming back to tell me how much they enjoy using something that I've made.
