Our next Songwriter Round at the Underground is coming up Wednesday, November 4 from 6–8 PM!

This round will feature Jason Kyle Smith and Mo Bell, with a couple more songwriters still to be announced. These nights give you a chance to hear original songs in a more personal setting and get a little closer to the stories behind them!

A little artist spotlight before our next Happy Hour! 🎸

Matthew Simpson is a Georgetown musician who has been making his way around the Central Kentucky live music scene. Earlier this year, he was featured as a special guest alongside Kristofer Bentley for Cork Days at The Cork in Lexington. Now you can catch him right here at Georgetown Underground!

Beth is a Kentucky native with years of experience performing across Central Kentucky and beyond. Her music blends indie folk, acoustic songwriting and powerful vocals, and she’s been a familiar name on the Lexington-area live music scene for years. She’s even performed right here in Georgetown before, including shows at Evans Orchard.

This week’s Saturday Set features Chris Todd! 🎸
Chris will be bringing his guitar to Georgetown Underground for a two-hour live set this Saturday afternoon.

There’s something about acoustic music inside the record shop that just fits, and we’re looking forward to having him here. Stop in, flip through some records and stick around for the music.

Christmas workshops are starting to fill up the calendar at Georgetown Underground! 🎄

We’ve got our Ornament Workshop on December 4 & 5 from 6–9PM. This one is for ages 13+ and includes everything you need to make your own giant record ornament, plus a hot cocoa bar and desserts. Tickets are $30 per painter, with a $10 cocoa bar option for anyone who isn't painting.

Our Wreath Painting Workshop is coming up December 11 & 12 from 6–9PM for ages 5+. You’ll paint your own Christmas wreath on a full-size vinyl record while we have vintage Christmas movies playing on the big screen. Hot cocoa and desserts are included too. Tickets are $30 per painter, with a $10 cocoa bar option for parents who aren’t painting. *An adult has to be present with children during the class.

We’re adding a few more Christmas classes to the schedule soon, so keep an eye out. ❤️

We’ve added some new Audio-Technica turntables to the shop! 🎶

We now have a few different models set up on display, so you can come in, see them in person and figure out which setup makes the most sense for you.

Looking for something simple and easy to use? The AT-LP60X is fully automatic, plays both 33s and 45s and has a built-in phono preamp. We have it for $179.

Want the same easy setup with the option to go wireless? The AT-LP60XBT adds Bluetooth so you can connect it to compatible wireless speakers or headphones. We have that one for $279.

We’ve got info cards with each model so you can compare them while you shop, and if you want to actually hear one, just ask us for a demo! 🎶
