I’ve gone from my original 7 to all these!!! One pair in progress, two just finished knitting and need sewing, eleven pairs are halfway sewn up, six pairs are done but need pom-poms and five pairs are completely done! I decided no pom-poms for the black and white booties... what do you think??

I’ve heard stories of how my great-grandmother, Sarah Manning Grant, better know as Gran, kept a stash of baby bootees to give away as presents. One of my relatives found Gran’s handwritten patterns for Perky Bootees, and my aunt Suzanne Lee taught me how to knit Gran’s Perky Booties. I’ve only completely finished one or two pairs thus far, but I’m working on building my own stash....

A new favorite pattern, can’t wait to hand this off to the new owners. Although Stella will miss it 😉
