As a young man, I remember my grandad, my uncles, and I going fishing and hunting on Brier Creek. Many of my summers were spent enjoying the natural beauty of it's scenery. It's where I learned to swim, hunt, fish, and was taught values that I have carried throughout life. It wasn’t until later in life that I learned the historical significance of Brier Creek. From Revolutionary War battles to the

settlement of the Yuchi Indians. This place is special to many and is a reminder that no matter where you are in life, you are always “on the hunt.”
