Here's what tariffs look like. Last November, I purchased some fabric online. I suspected it was coming from India. Gorgeous stuff and I thought it would make some amazing waistcoats. 6 yds. for $192 + $12 shipping. A great deal. I kept tracking the order. Delayed in Memphis TN for 2 weeks over the new year. It was delivered yesterday and it's everything I hoped it would be. This morning I got an email from FedEx - Duties, taxes & fees due - $66.63 - Almost 35%. And so it goes.

2025 has come to a close and it has indeed been quite a full year. In addition to designing 7 stage productions, I have spent the year getting used to my new workspace, and working hard on my backlogue of custom orders. Just a rough count of garments produced this year -
20 shirt collars
25 shirts
39 waistcoats
4 trousers
2 Police Capes
4 Invernesses
2 Cutaway Coats
1 Naval uniform
This doesn't include new merchandise that was made for The Great Dickens Christmas Fair. Rather a full year indeed.
Of course, none of this would have been possible with out our friends and supporters - our patrons, our sales staff, our hosts who offered us hospitality on our weekends up in the Bay Area, and our loyal customers.
