We had a couple donations this week, but the Gloucester Courthouse Little Free Pantry could certainly use some extra. If you have extra items in your pantry that you will not use, or you can pick up some extras at your next grocery visit, your neighbors in need would appreciate it.

Make donations directly to the pantry in front of Southern States Gloucester, 6766 Main Street, Gloucester. If you have a large donation, contact us for pickup.

If you are in need, stop by the pantry.

The Gloucester Courthouse Little Free Pantry needs your help. The donations we have gotten recently have mostly disappeared. We are desperately in need of dry goods, canned meat, pasta, peanut butter, mac and cheese, rice or noodle packets, snack crackers, or cereal. We also take baby food or baby hygiene items, and other personal hygiene items.

Please, no clothing or toys. These items can be donated to a local thrift store.

If you have a garden and have extra fresh food, we would love to have it. Please just let us know if you donate fresh items, so we can let others know before it goes bad.

Please drop donations directly to the pantry at Southern States Gloucester, 6766 Main Street. If you need your donation picked up, just reach out. We appreciate whatever help you can provide!

The Gloucester Courthouse Little Free Pantry is pretty well-stocked right now and ready for our neighbors in need. But we always need donations from the community to keep it running. Please follow and share this page. If you can afford to pick up just a few extra items when you go to the grocery store, it could really help someone in need.

If you are in need, no questions asked. Stop by and take a few items to get you by.

The pantry is just outside Southern States Gloucester on Main Street. Donations can be made directly to the pantry, or reach out to us if you need a pickup.

Fresh veggies in the Gloucester Courthouse Little Free Pantry. Also lots of beans. We have included some recipes to use the dried beans. Feel free to take a few bags.

We always take donations of non-perishable food, baby items and personal hygiene items. No clothing, please.

We dropped some fresh veggies off this morning and some canned goods. We are expecting a big donation this weekend, but we could use some staples right now. If you have some extras, or can pick up a few extra items during your next grocery run, it would be appreciated.

The pantry is in front of Southern States Gloucester and open to anyone in need. We also accept donations of non-perishable food, personal hygiene items and baby items. No clothes, please! Any local farmers or Gardeners who can place some fresh veggies, we appreciate you. Just let us know so we can get them to someone quickly.

The Gloucester Courthouse Little Free Pantry is pretty well stocked with basic essentials, baby food and some fresh veggies. If you are in need, stop by and take what you need, leave the rest for others.

The pantry is in front of Southern States Gloucester. They have generously donated seeds if you would like to grow your own produce. Thank you for this!

We also added a trash can this weekend. If you are leaving a donation and have extra boxes or plastic, please put it in the trashcan. Let's keep our pantry looking great.

We got some more summer squash and cucumbers into the Gloucester Courthouse Little Free Pantry this morning. Also re-stocked canned goods and other items. We can certainly use some other donations, if you are able to help.

The pantry is open to anyone in need. It's located in front of Southern States Gloucester on Main Street. Just take what you need and leave the rest.

The Gloucester Courthouse Little Free Pantry has been re-stocked, and there are some fresh vegetables. Someone left some onions and cucumbers, and Milby Farm has donated some yellow squash. A cucumber salad or fried squash with onions are a great side dish. There are also plenty of beans, great for chili, tacos or make black bean burgers. Just remember, these beans have to be soaked first. But one bag goes a long way.

Also, we love Southern States Gloucester who has allowed us to keep this pantry in front of their store. They have also donated some seeds. Grab a couple packets from the binder. If you can grow something in a pot on your porch, it could provide food for months. If you have any extra seeds to donate, please add them to the binder.

We continually need donations to fill the need in our community. Please donate directly to the pantry, or reach out and we can pick it up. And if you are in need, come by. No questions asked.

We are working on getting some more items in the Gloucester Courthouse Little Free Pantry today. A big THANK YOU to everyone who has donated and continues to help us keep it stocked.

Just a few notes: please share!

The pantry is possible due to the generosity of Southern States Gloucester. They give us a free space. They have reported a lot of trash being left recently. If you donate or pick up items, please, please, please take all bags, boxes, any excess with you. We do hope to install a trash can soon

Also, the pantry is a short-term solution for those who need help right now. Please just take what you need to get by until your next payday or until you can get setup with a regular food pantry, WIC, or SNAP/EBT. One family should not be clearing out the pantry in a day. There are many people in the community to help.

A big THANK YOU to Gloucester Courthouse Little Free Pantry angel, Kim, who made sure our little pantry was stuffed full today. We also found this great big bag full of canned goods, cereal and canned meat. THANKS to you for leaving it.

There are also still some fresh squash, with more items likely coming this week.

The pantry is open to anyone in need. Please only take what you need, and leave the rest. It's located in front of Southern States Gloucester on Main Street.
