Yesterday, we ventured out towards Pitt County. We hadn’t intended on ending up right back in Greenville, but we did. Sometimes, I joke that we should just move to Greenville, because we spend so much time there 😅 However, our son won’t be staying there forever, and I am still very much wanting to relocate to the mountain to a cooler climate.

We originally ventured out towards that way to visit an antique shop to feature…that we hadn’t been to before. Unfortunately, I had to leave shortly after arrival. I just cannot handle very little or no climate control, in near triple digit temps too much anymore. Some days are better than others, but yesterday my body was definitely saying nope! not today. We will absolutely be back though when temps cool!

We were already out that way, so we decided we may as well hit up some thrifts and places to do a little treasure hunting! I think my favorite finds this thrift visit were the nesting dolls ❤️

I actually really loved this! If I had space for it, I would have bought it, given it a little bit of a clean and polish, fixed the hardware, and displayed pretty dishes on it.

Spontaneous trip to Two Peas N A Pod Consignment & Antiques this afternoon!

Here’s everything that caught my eye today. 😁 I was so excited to see they opened up another half of the building too since our last visit!

I didn’t get but 3 feet in the door and the sweetest 4 legged baby was at my feet greeting me 😍😌 I forgot all about treasures for the first 5 minutes in the shop 🤣 had to pet the doggie first!

Good afternoon 🫶🏻

A sharp contrast from the bright Pyrex in this post 🙂 I love both the bright and colorful vintage…and also the beautiful old timeworn muted vintage/antiques. It’s impossible for me to pick a favorite or stick to just one. So, I collect both.

Most of these beauties pictured are from yard sales, auction, and thrift stores. I love them. Stains, chips, and all. One of the bluebird dishes was a $3 find from the Goldsboro Antique Mall. The other (second photo) is from Library of Evergreen Goods

If you’re here for pretty photos of old glass, learning about old stuff, etc…you may see some antique mall videos popping up from us …and perhaps the occasional restaurant/cafe post. I try to leave those subjects to the food content creators though 🙂
