It’s tough to show some of the trailer work that happens, but here’s a giant pile of old wiring and components that were pulled from a trailer that was recently wired/repaired here! Electrical repairs, rewires, or add ons, nothing too big or small. While’s it’s here, TJ next door offers bearing packing/replacement as well as other hardware repair on trailers too! (Water bottle was a paid actor and not a component of said trailer)

Hey that’s not supposed to be like that!

97 f250 came in with flickering running lights, got lucky and the suspect wire fell out on its own when I pulled the switch out! A couple of the plastic pin holders finally lost the battle to age and caused wiring to start backing out of the connector! Luckily we had a spare connector on hand in a parts truck and got it all repinned and happy again!

Got to enjoy a classic this week! This 1940 chevy came in for a new carpet! The old one was pulled, floor was cleaned, and a couple holes were plugged.

The new carpet was definitely still a trim to fit, and these older cars don’t have trim to tuck under. So every edge you see was cut to fit right here in the shop (with the exception of the front edge) now all it needs is a couple warm days in the sun to work that center crease out and she’ll be like new, or better!

Chaos to calm- some of these installs look like a tornado came through while the work is happening, but it’s the end result that makes it all worth it!

2023 Tahoe came in for some bass, but wanted to keep as much space as possible! So we did a pair of MMats Dreadnaut 6.5”s in the usual LSE enclosure, with a MMats LSX amplifier hidden neatly under the storage tray. These things pack a PUNCH. I’ve never seen this much output in such a small package until now. A setup this small can fit just almost any vehicle and exceed expectations!

As always, much appreciation goes out to the customer for the trust and business!

I demoed these in my truck for a few days prior to install, and I’ve gotta admit, I’ll probably have to get another set of these little monsters to put back in mine! I offer these in a single and double 6.5, triples and quad boxes are being tested and designed, and most of my truck boxes can be optioned for 4 or 6 of these, as well as 2 subs with the other half of the box being a storage tray.

Today I had little spare time to make more progress on my personal truck. I’ve been slowly accumulating a collection of equipment to make something extremely loud (potentialy annoying 😂), while maintaining a very high sound quality level. When you go that far, a good foundation is always the start. So I ripped out everything but the dash and laid 65 sq/ft of soundskins pro plus triple layer sound deadening. Unfortunately there’s still quite a few more areas that need treatment (I ran out and an entire roll was clearly not enough).

I haven’t done much of this, but it is a product and service I offer, even if an audio upgrade isn’t taking place, sound deadener can still benefit you by drastically reducing road/engine noise, and the correct product will also help regulate interior temperature (think colder in summer, warmer in winter) most noticeably in older vehicles where comfort was far less of a consideration than it is today!

Wow I really didn’t get enough photos of this one. But this 97 f250 got a much needed overhaul.

Came in with a 15+ year old radio, no front speakers, and equally old rear speakers.

Went with the kenwood head unit sending signal out all the speakers from MMats audio! MMats is an American company based out of Florida, I am beyond excited to now be a direct dealer for them, and I’ll be making more posts regarding products, and performance.

For what it is, this truck is LOUD. As we know, videos don’t do car audio justice, and Facebook doesn’t allow me to put a video in with pictures on this style of account. But I can say that I stopped about a 1/4 mile from the shop to record a video and TJ recognized the song I was playing, all the way from the shop (over the sound of a 7.3 diesel i might add). Mind you this is a pair of shallow 10s in my house brand custom enclosure, and 4 coaxials on RADIO power only!
