Hey Girl 🩷

As you probably know by now, we are no longer a boutique. Such a bittersweet transition for us.

We began holding classes here when we first opened back in 2022 but we made the well thought through decision (it was heartbreaking yall) to close up shop.

Because I’ve been teaching, leading, coaching and instructing since 2012 the obvious answer was to convert the space into a studio. I love my sweet little building and my mission of bringing women together to feel amazing transitioned nicely.

Balanced Pilates and Fitness is a Pilates studio that offers group fitness classes to women of all fitness levels. While we love beginners, there are just a couple of classes on our schedule that aren’t for the very beginner, we chat about that later.

We have a full schedule of classes including reformers by appointment.

It just doesn’t seem real. This little business has brought so much joy and so many blessings to our world.

Today was such a bittersweet day. Visits from friends, friends that became family, boutique besties and local business owners. I got more hugs today than I did in a years time.

While my heart is full of gratitude and joy, I’m also completely broken hearted as a business owner like so many others that have had to close. Please support the local businesses in your communities and beyond. Even the ones that make it look easy have the weight of the world on them right now. Spend your money in locally owned business as much as you’re able. Yes, everything comes from China on some level (textiles, supplies, pieces and parts) but your family and friends need their jobs as buyers, distributors and salespeople. Seek businesses that carry quality products instead of fast and cheap, the businesses that have poured their lives into your communities and employed your neighbors.

Daisy and I are so grateful for every single person that has crossed that threshold and supported our careers.
For now it’s a see you later as we take the next several days to let it resonate and count our blessings.

Cheers to lazy days in the sun as we escape to enjoy our severance package 😉

This is it.

TONS OF JEWELRY AND BABY ITEMS, stuffies, Demdaco, SO MANY BOOKS, tons of ornaments that were lost in December 🙃
Denim, clothing, gifts, etc

We are open 12-3 today and our intention is to clear out at garage sale prices. We will be sharing proceeds with the Lorain County APL.

We aren’t taking calls or answering messages. Yes, it is worth it for you to visit today 😉

There are ATMs in the village. Cash is the only form of payment we will accept, don’t make it awkward.
