Michelle’s new are out the door and on their way to Ohio! 🌰 Her order was not only the most items we’ve ever shipped at one time, but was also our 3rd order in May, making this the first time we’ve ever had 3 orders in one month!

Very excited to share that there’s new prototypes of our silent fidgets in the works! 🤌 While the new designs still need a bit of work, we’re pretty pleased with the progress we’ve made so far.

Our thinking is that if our current style of fidgets is considered the “medium” size, then the “mini” size would have a keychain type of look with a loop on one end (so it doesn’t get lost) and a simple one channel structure for the gem to move through (kinda like those plastic mesh fidgets with the marble in them).

Not quite set on how we want the “large” size to work yet though - should they be a longer version of the mini’s (with an elastic strap connected to both ends to loop around the cover of a notebook), a bigger version of the medium mazes (with a more complex maze pattern), or something else entirely? 🤔

Annddd the award for our furthest traveled order yet goes to… drumroll please! 🥁🥁🥁 Nina in Washington (like, as in the state)! 🦭 Nina also created two other firsts for us as she placed her order so soon after Celeste bought her daughter’s fidgets that they were actually in our queue at the same time (wild, I know!) AND these are our first ever purchased through our online shop!

Btw, any thoughts on the new background? Are we feeling the brown paper vibe or should I just stick with using my cutting mats and leave well enough alone? 📸

Ok, so, I like maybe kinda filmed just enough of the process of making Celeste’s order to put together at least one “real” reel 😅

Something I don’t think I’ve shared on here yet is that I actually originally created this style of silent fidgets for myself as I didn’t like any of the maze patterns I’d found online - they all had a start and end point and instead I wanted to have something I could mindlessly go around and around and around as many times as I wanted to without having to come to a jarring stop and be forced to switch directions.

The fact that that’s now led to another neurospicy little girl somewhere all the way over in Texas to be vibing in school with those very same fidgets to the point where her mom bought her 5 more of them just makes my heart wanna explode 😭🥰🥰

Annddd Celeste’s most recent order is all packed up and on its way to Texas! I even got it out the door kinda on time this time around 😅 The two mini fidgets also show here are a new kind of fidget I’m trying out, here’s hoping her daughter will like them too!

Soooo didn’t have it in me to film any of the actual process of sewing the fidgets (and didn’t even have my normal setup cause I wasn’t at the sewing studio!) BUT I still want to take a moment to thank Celeste for being our first repeat customer, ever!

Made a semi impulsive decision to jump on a video call with last night, and I’m so glad I did. The impression I immediately got was that they’re super approachable, clued in, really real people, who truly want to transparently work with and support local creators and makers. Tbh I can easily say that it’s been a hot minute since I’ve enjoyed being on a work call that much and I’m super excited to see the ways that they continue to grow!
