Most of the time in life, it doesn’t matter how it gets done nor does anyone care. The only thing that matters is that the workout, phone call, critical task, etc. actually gets done.

In this case it was a leg workout I absolutely dread doing. The “back corner of the barn next to storage” workout area doesn’t nearly compare to a top notch gym, but it gets the job done. It’s about twice as hot inside the barn as it is outside and I actually prefer it that way. Probably because most people bitch about how hot out it is right now. Certain things motivate me more than others, one of them being things others aren’t willing to do.

“Be a person that makes others want to be better”

If you’re not pursuing the best version of yourself, then what the f**k are you doing? To many people coast through life, bitching and moaning that s**t never goes there way. Just take a deep look into what you do on a day to day basis and you’ll figure it out pretty quick. I’ve been there and it is a punch to the gut to realize you’ve been cutting yourself short.

Your mindset has to change. Your habits have to change. Your diet has to change. Your workout routine has to change. Your social atmosphere has to change. A lot of s**t in your life has to change.

At the fork in the road in your life, no one gives a s**t that you went left and nothing worked out. Turn your ass around and head right. Take new action steps toward creating a better you, with the key word being ACTION!

You have no idea how many people, if any, take an interest in how you go about your business. Friends, family, strangers…we will probably never know, but there might be just one person that looks up to you and your actions could change that persons life. So go into every day striving to be someone that makes others want to be better.

Sharpen the mind.
Strengthen the body.
Secure the soul.

Live GRITTY.
