Hope everyone had an incredible summer and enjoyed everyday to the fullest! Angie has been crushing life! Traveling, loving, laughing, living.
We wanted to update everyone with what is happening in her journey with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer.
We learned two weeks ago that there was a high chance that her cancer that had moved to her liver, may be growing, after scans and meeting with her amazing team that fear became real.
After talking with her amazing doctor and looking at the remaining choices, Angie will begin a new treatment next week. This treatment may bring some changes to life but we are ready.
Everyday goes by and we just pray we did not waste it. We have amazing days, hard days, sad days, days of pain, days of joy. We are learning more through this journey that, although our journey may be really intense and hard and "not fair"..... everyone has something going on, everyone has "things" that are testing them, or pushing you out of comfort.
Angie is staying positive, so strong, and not living in fear.
We have to live. Anything could happen to any of us at any time. We have a long road ahead of us, there will be tears, there will be pain, there will be hard days, but we will STAY POSITIVE!
Angie and I are taking the positive things in life and running with them. We are taking chances. We want to challenge everyone that reads this to take chances, we are all so lucky to be able to wake up and live, don't waste it. There are lines that we are all so comfortable falling into, routines, things that we feel like we "HAVE" to do. Make your own routine, make your own line, be YOU. LIVE YOUR LIFE. Once you stop worrying about what others think, you will feel freedom and live like never before.
If you see Angie and I out in public we kindly ask that we don't talk about CANCER. We love hugs, and positive encouragement, but if we are at work, or the store, or just out in public, please know that we are going through it 24/7. If we are in public we are livin, we don't want to talk about the negative. POSITIVE VIBES ONLY!!
