Saijoen opens bulk orders twice a year, but this time everything sold out earlier than usual. I was able to secure some Chawa - their most affordable option, yet still a great fit for our customers this season. It’s my personal favorite for everyday use, and I also use it at my pop-ups

Saijoen is known for matcha with a floral note and a tea-like taste. In addition to Chawa, Juko no Shiro and Myogetsu will also be arriving soon in limited quantities ✌🏼

Are you an usucha, koicha, or latte person?

It depends on the day, my mood, or even the matcha blend, I’ll make whichever suits my palate at the moment.
This Iwai no Shiro from Ishimoto has earthy, grassy notes. It has a pleasant bitterness that I prefer in an iced usucha or refreshing drinks like coconut matcha or sparkling yuzu, rather than in a latte

Iwai no Shiro has been a customer favorite because it’s simple and affordable for everyday matcha. It’s good quality without breaking the bank

Wako is a type of matcha for anyone who loves a rich, creamy taste with earthy, floral notes.
It doesn’t give me (personally) any hint of seaweed or grassiness

This matcha can be enjoyed straight as a light, thin tea or prepared as a matcha latte with just a touch of sweetener since the quality is really nice

Celebrate the biggest holiday of the year Lunar New Year! 🧧
We’ll be whisking matcha at Asia Times Square for the longest event we’ve ever done, and we couldn’t be more excited 🤭
This will be the last event for Emery’s Corner for a little while, as Momma is due just two weeks later so we’d love to whisk lots of matcha for you all before a long rest
