How Vicki Found Her Groove with the Spin Me Around Blanket

Vicki has a heart as big as they come and a genuine gift for giving her work to the people she loves. She knows her way around both crafts, but crochet is definitely her jam. For this project, she tackled the Spin Me Around pattern by Catherine Bligh, a free design on Ravelry, using Uptown DK. Once she understood the rhythm of the pattern, crafting this throw was an enjoyable journey to the finish line. The lucky recipient absolutely loves it, too! When you're working a circular design, the stitches can be compact in those first few rounds, and challenging to read. Use stitch markers.

Rummaging through old files and I found a half written pattern. No gauge. No needle size noted. No pictures 🤣 No notes about where the inspiration came from.

What else would a pattern designer between projects do? 🧺

Grab some yarn and needles that "might" work together, and just start stitching, of course! 🧶 Now that I'm a couple inches in, I think I'm realizing what the inspiration was! Now, hopefully I can finish this and bring it to life! 🌸
