Tips for taking items in for alteration:
*If it is an item that you will wear a special undergarment with, bring that undergarment, it changes the fit.
*If you are getting pants/skirts or dresses hemmed, it is a good idea to have the shoes you will likely wear with those items. If there are two shoe options bring both and go for an in between length, especially with jeans.
*If you are in weig

ht loss mode, make sure to let your alterations person know that so they can decide when will be a good time to come back and actually make the alteration.
