We are so glad you are here. Our names are Kurt and Alli and we are the parents of the little miracle, Wyatt Joseph. To start, I think its only fair to tell you where this idea came from and that will lead us and bring clarity to our mission. It all started when we found out we were expecting a little boy. We started looking for all the cute outfits and realized it seems like the girls just have m
ore options. From that day, December 20th, 2021, I would always joke and say I wanted to open a store that specialized in boy clothes. Fast forward to April when we welcomed our handsome 7 lb 7 oz baby boy and were just so in love. He was perfect in every way and was the perfect blend of both Kurt and I. At Wyatt's 2 month check up the doctor noticed shaking in his eyes. She referred us to a specialist and after 3 eye doctor appointments are sweet boy was diagnosed with nystagmus, also known as dancing eyes. It is a vision condition in which the eyes make repetitive, uncontrolled movements. We were told around 4 months that they believed our son had little to no vision. One thing to know about our family and friends is that we are all loud, proud, strong willed, determined, but very loving people! With positive thoughts and all the prayers a little man could need we pushed forward. With our family and friends behind us we worked with Wyatt in every way possible. One of the first things we noticed is Wyatt loved high contrast. We were gifted and purchased what felt like every black and white contrast item that was on the market. The next thing we noticed around 7 months was that Wyatt loved lights!!! We were then gifted and purchased every light up toy! This happened to be around Christmas time so you can bet we went to every light show in the area (11 in less then a month!). On December 19th, our sweet boy went and saw a pediatric ophthalmologist who also saw what we were noticing and prescribed glasses! We then realized our prayers were being answered and this little man had angels watching over him. On December 28th, 2022 we picked up Wyatt's first pair of glasses at just 8 months old. We were told to take them home and put them on Wyatt when we were ready. We were told not to expect any difference right away if anything and that they still weren't sure what his vision would be. The warned us that the reaction you see in videos would most likely not happen. Well...remember we mentioned the angels? Wyatt DID have a reaction and his whole face lit up that night we put his glasses on.
