Many of us know someone who has been affected by cancer. In December 2024, a dear friend and longtime supporter of Rambling Rose was diagnosed with colorectal cancer.

Ramona Fender — to know her is to love her. She has an infectious smile, an outgoing personality, and a strength that inspires everyone around her. She’s facing this diagnosis head-on with grit, grace, and dignity. Through her journey, she’s committed to bringing awareness to a cancer many of us don’t talk about enough.

Ramona will be on chemotherapy for the rest of her life, and her goal is simple but powerful: to raise awareness. She wants others to advocate for their health, to get screened, and to be a light for those walking through their own diagnosis and treatment journey.

She has requested that proceeds from this fundraiser go to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, sharing, “They’ve been such a valuable resource for me as I’ve navigated this.”

Let’s rally around this incredible woman, support this important organization, and most importantly — get those 🍑 checked. 💙

To order please read the following:

T-shirts will be $20
Sweatshirts $30

These will be sublimated and printed on a 50/50 Gildan Dryblend unisex— ash gray. All orders must be paid in full before they are made! Youth XS to Adult 5X available.

Please include the following:
1. T-shirt or sweatshirt
2. Sizes (no sweatshirts in youth)!
3. Pickup location: Dr. Adkins Dentist office, porch pickup in Chuckey, shipping (additional $7), or if these don’t work please let me know and we will work something out!
4. Payment options: Venmo, PayPal, Facebook pay or e-mail address for invoicing!

Turnaround time on these will be about 7 business days or less!!

A few of you know, most don’t. This year has been a rough one for more than one reason. However, I am turning to y’all for some help. My step dad, the kids papaw Jerry was diagnosed in November with cancer.

Bone, Kidney and Prostate.

Since then the bills have been piling up and my mom is on FMLA. Meaning when he needs assistance getting to and from appointments, after surgeries and procedures, etc. she takes him but doesn’t get paid.

Since November he’s underwent 38 rounds of radiation, had his kidney removed and some tissue around it, had a port put in & is now undergoing chemo. He takes 4 chemo pills a day, an injection every 3 months of chemo & chemo in his port every 3 weeks for a year. The pills and injection he will have to get for the rest of his life.

The insurance deductible goes back to the beginning at the first of the year & all of the profits raised from this is going to my mom and Jerry to help offset some of the bills coming in hot and heavy!

I tried to make a design very versatile, for people to be able to wear all the time. Something that represents all cancers and faith through them. God will see us through, we are following his plan. 🫶🏼

These will be sublimated on an ash gray unisex 50/50 blend.

This weekend special will look a little different. I wasn’t going to do a shirt fundraiser. There’s so many of them going on, but for some reason it won’t leave my mind. There’s a voice saying do it, just try.

I know the last fundraiser I done was for Southland Equipment and it raised $870.

So here we go:
•Sublimation
•Color options: light pink, light blue, ash gray or white
•Tshirts:$20, Long Sleeves $25 & Sweatshirts $30
•ALL proceeds with be put into a separate fund, I’m thinking of seeing what needs are around Christmas time or donating to some friends that were affected. I’m praying about it to see where I feel led to donate it.

3. Pickup: The Uncommon Collective or my house in Chuckey off old stage road or CrossFit Arcane pickup for its members!

I’m only going to run these this weekend. Also this is my design.

Watercolor came to my mind while making this design, because of the beauty these Appalachian mountains hold and the people in them.

As most of y’all know, Southland Equipment was hit hard this week.

Jeremy was delivering and picking up equipment tonight when he had an accident. The bale spear on the tractor punctured Jeremy down the back. The bale spear missed all major organs and the body cavity, but did major damage to tissues and muscles and fractured the illiac bone.

Moving forward, this has and will be a major financial burden that was not planned for as a small business, as a family, as so much more. The Funny Farm (Tammy) reached out to me to help organize a T-shirt fundraiser because y’all always show up and show out for these! And what better color than TN orange to show your love for our beautiful state, as well as Southland Equipment.

These will be $20, with $5 per shirt sold given directly to Jeremy and Jennifer! 🧡

To order:
