Hey, remember me?

I thought I’d post since I get the occasional message asking if I’m still in the ear business. (I am.) Also Facebook keeps reminding me my last post was almost two years ago.

Anyway, here are some designs I recently added to my Etsy shop:

First up is a pair inspired by the new live-action film “The Little Mermaid.” These ears feature my exclusive, custom-designed fabric and about a kajillion individually applied pearl gems.

Next up is a reversible pair inspired by Mickey and Minnie’s super sparkly outfits for Disney Cruise Line’s Silver Anniversary at Sea celebration. The bow is removable so you can choose which side of the ears you want in front, or you can wear them without the bow.

There. Now Facebook can get off my back about not engaging with my page followers. 😁💜

🌈 I want to share this awesome story as Pride Month comes to a close. Last month I created 12 custom pairs of Snow White-themed ears for Eldon, one of my favorite customers. This was Eldon’s first trip with his partner’s family, and he was understandably nervous—especially since the whole Snow White ears and shirts thing was his idea. Little did he know that his partner Alex had also contacted me to make some special ears for the trip because he was planning to propose.

I told Alex no refunds if he gets turned down. 🤣 Luckily Eldon said yes.

🍎 So excited to finally share this cool project! 🍎

Cat Day contacted me last Fall to create custom ears based on Disney’s “The Legend of Johnny Appleseed.” Cat’s grandpa, Dennis Day, performed all the voices and singing in the animated short, which is included in the 1948 film “Melody Time.” The title character was also drawn to resemble Dennis.

I designed new fabric based on scenes from the movie. Cat surprised her family with their custom Johnny Appleseed ears for Christmas. It was such an honor to work on this very personal project.

FYI: “Melody Time” is streaming on Disney+
