HALSTON Oscar de la Renta Anne Klein stephen burrows and Bill Blass showed up and showed OUT ... and THAT was the day that American fashion design took her place on the world's stage.

Ever had so much fun that you missed an entire tornado + torrential downpour going by? "Oh, look ... it's raining!"

While the rest of the region was battening down the hatches, losing power, wading through floods, and canceling, we were giggling over caviar bumps ... blissfully unaware

What a wonderful night of Parian style, French ch*****ne, Russian caviar, and apparently, extreme weather.
