🧵 A little Sunday sewing at Megan’s Sewing Box.

One of the things I love most about sewing is that there’s always something happening — a project in progress, fabric waiting to be cut, a new technique to try, or an idea that turns into something completely different once I get started. ✂️

Sometimes the sewing space is neat and ready to go… and sometimes it looks like creativity exploded all over the counter. 😂

Either way, there’s usually something being made.

For someone brand new to sewing, we can start right at the beginning — getting comfortable with the machine, learning what everything does, practicing basic stitching, and building confidence before moving into a project.

There’s no expectation that you should already know what you’re doing before you come in.

That’s what the lesson is for. 💗

🧵 Megan’s Sewing Box has changed quite a bit over the years!

What started years ago with sewing classes has grown into something I really love — personalized, one-on-one sewing lessons in my Gloucester Township studio.

Today, I work with children and adults who are brand new to sewing, returning after years away, or simply ready to build their skills and confidence.

Lessons are tailored to the person sitting in front of me — their experience, their machine, and what they’d actually like to learn and make.

I’m looking forward to sharing more of what happens at Megan’s Sewing Box here again. 💗
