If you’ve been waiting on a reply from me, I’d like to formally apologize.
Over the last few weeks, life took a turn I never expected. I quietly stepped back from Forest & Fillies and had help behind the scenes, but honestly my mind & heart haven’t been here in the way they normally are.
I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and I was quickly trying to find my balance — as a business owner, a mom, and being a human learning to navigate something so life-shifting.
While I had always prided myself on doing right by this community, by showing up and serving you all well, I have quickly recognized, even with the help, I haven’t. And it doesn’t feel quite right to continue like everything is normal.
So, for now, I made the decision to pause our online sales until I know I can show up properly again.
Not because I’m giving up, but because I don’t want orders missed, messages overlooked, or anyone who has supported us to feel disappointed. You deserve my best, and right now, I’m not able to give that consistently.
This isn’t an excuse, but just a gentle reminder that we never know what someone is walking through, especially during a season that can be heavy for so many.
Thank you for your patience, your grace, and your overwhelming support.
Thank you for letting me be human.
