So I recently gifted my boys a Dear Persons Hoodie. If you don't know what they are, definitely Google them. My youngest wore his first, and I remember him looking in the mirror and reading the front of it, which said, You Are Enough. I had asked him if he knew what the back said, and he said yes. I honestly waited for him to say he wasn't going to wear it, but he didn't. When I picked him up from school that day, he literally told me so many people loved his sweatshirt. My oldest son got the same reaction from people when he wore his. I didn't expect anyone to really say anything about them, but how I'm trying to raise my boys is why I bought them. So it got me thinking. I wanted to do something for Valentine's Day, but then I saw that the school was doing Kindness Week. Then I dug deeper and realized that Random Acts of Kindness Week is February 14-20, with Random Acts of Kindness Day falling on February 17. This is what I decided to do, and I'm so excited about it! This is a way to show someone what you may be thinking and just can't say, a way to tell more than just one person something that just makes their day! You never know who's reading your shirt and, in that moment, what it does or how it makes them feel! Lift someone up! And the best part is it can be worn any day of the year!! ❤️
