Day 18 of Sickle Cell Awareness Month. I'm hella late but I'm here. It's that time of year again. From summer to fall. Unfortunately, that can cause a lot of us to get admitted to the hospital. I've seen the increase in hospital post down my timeline. Some ppl think being in the hospital is some sort of break or mini vacay. That couldn't be further from the truth. We're in pain, we don't get much sleep, they drawing blood every hour(feels like), and the food is NOT IT😂! We have to worry about what kind of attitude the nurses or doctors may have and if our medication will be prescribed and administered properly. Then, we're still worried about our children and our household. The worries are countless and let's not talk about the loneliness🤦🏾‍♀️! It's hard to see the light at the end. All we can do is 🙏🏾!

But, to my Warriors, I just wanna share something that helps me. Don't stop looking towards the future, but also look at the past. Think about your last stay and how back then, you felt this same way. Think about the doctors and nurses you had, the ones that cared and understood. Think about the weight that was lifted when your pain began to subside. Think about the smile on your face when they told you, you could go home. Think about the excitement you felt in your heart when you were finally able to call your ride! Think about the love, hugs and kisses that you were greeted with from your children and your family! Now, use it! Keep it at the forefront. Combine those with your faith, hope, determination and will power! Let the devil and Sickle Cell know that you will never give up! We are Warriors for a reason! I hope it helps yall like it does me!

Sooooooooooooooo, Matthew and I are somewhat confused😕! We thought that people understood that Pressed 2 Imprezz was born to create CUSTOM MADE ITEMS! Now, we're starting to wonder, do ppl really know what CUSTOM MADE means?🤔 Maybe not, so here's a few definitions.....

1. (GOOGLE) - to make according to the specifications of an individual
2. (GOOGLE) - when you manually change the item to meet needs or requirements.
3. (US) - Items that you cannot go into a store and purchase off a rack
4. (US) - a design that is manufactured from the creative juices that we are blessed with.
5. (US) - a unique item that you can bet your ass you'll never see on another person! EVER!
6. (US) - When your only given limited info to create with. Ex. It's my birthday and I want a large, red shirt with black letters and you can design the rest.

Now, with all that in mind, even seeing the words, CUSTOM MADE, should let you know that the PRICE is what it is and should not be met with lip smackin, eye rolling🙄, invisible pearl clutching, heavy sighs and hard breathing. Definitely not, price negotiation🤦🏾‍♀️! This job is not as easy as ppl want to think it is. We take our craft and the satisfaction of our supporters really serious. It is truly a passion and we have no interest in our passion being devalued. Especially when you choose to share every other purchase you've recently made. You've went into all those other establishments and paid exactly what was on the price tag with no hesitation. Then we're expected to except the leftovers. NOPE! And not to mention, there's 2 of us. No matter how many shirts are ordered, 1, 2, 10, or 100, there is still 2 of us! We will continue to run and learn from this business. But, we won't be low balled. Thanks to every single one of you who have supported us in making P2I a success.
