Scripture:
-- 2 Kings 4:1-7
Titled:
--A Miracle Starts With Something
We know the day and place where
we are born BUT NOT THE DAY OR
PLACE WHERE WE SHALL DIE.
In 2nd Kings Chapter we find a
widow pleading for the lives of two
sons to the prophet the man of God for the dead husband was a
disciple a student of the prophet.
The widow was looking for favor in
the prophet. There are benefits in
the service of God.
She was looking for favor!
She was looking in the right place!
She was looking for redemption.
Ahe knew not what but she was looking.
Miracles start with the one who is looking for one.
What do you have?
She had little left,
A little oil,
A few vessels
A little faith
But a whole lot of expectation
Do you have any expectations?
When you come to the man of God
You must come with expectations!
You must believe that He is
rewarder to those that believe.
She heard the man ask for vessels
So guess what she did? She got
vessels!
A vessel is not only a jar or a cup
but it can be your soul!
Lose it all to gain it all.
The psalmist put it very well, "my
cup runneth over!"
When your cup is empty of self, God will fill it up of blessings, ....
Cup is me for wine and when you
bring your cup to God he will fill it
up my brother...
You bring it and God will fill it up!
You bring it and he will fill it up!
ONCE we die to the world we
ressurect to God's movement.
Close the door to the world
God opens his windows to bless
you.
Bring it to him and he shall fill it
to rim of your cup my friend.
In order to be filled you got to be
an empty vessel.
Get rid of pride to let him fill your
cup...
Summary:
Once you are born again
All things are made new...
You have become a new man in
Christ.
Remember it's cleaning of the
closet time.
A new life, a new creature,
all things are made new!
