We have two very fun, immersive shows lined up for this Friday’s opening! In our Solstice Gallery you’ll find Hatful of Haints by Loring Gibson of . Carved, painted, collaged, and everything in between, this show features all iterations of Loring’s signature ghosty subject. Even some you can touch!

In our Equinox Gallery you’ll find Out Of Bounds by Laura Thompson of .studio. What starts with her popular collage pieces quickly transforms as they break free from their frames and spread onto the walls! Featuring an actual mural, you’ll find yourself feeling like you’re inside one of her little worlds. You’ll want to experience this in person, trust us!

Join us this Friday 5-7pm for an evening of haints, bears, friends, and of course, snacks!

Join us next Friday for Out of Bounds: New Works and Walls by Laura Thompson of .studio

This installation features framed pieces don’t behave—lines sneak past their edges and take over the wall, turning the whole space into a mural, complete with Laura’s distinctive flowers and vintage characters.

We can’t wait to see this one come together! Come on down to see it for yourself, meet the artist, hire her for a mural 😉 and have a snack with fellow art appreciators.

This show is a progression, and evolution of the artist’s Haints, from where they started to how they currently manifest. There will be examples of the early iterations, new carved works, and even a touch tank of pieces to experience and get close and personal with! Some of the Haints on display even want to exchange all the feels with you!

“hold me at the fray” features a body of work that focuses on the complex nature of intimacy, touch, and sensuality through the exploration of surface texture, movement, and contrast.

Could not be more grateful for this incredible team of strong women. These are the faces behind all that goes on in our shop. From friendly and fun consultations, problem solving, and mastering all the skills needed for framing to hosting community events that support artists, this group knocks it out of the park. I can’t believe I’m using a sports reference here. Send help.

We were blown away by everyone who showed up yesterday to support not only our small business but also the eleven makers we hosted for our holiday market. In a year that has felt so difficult and dark in a lot of ways, yesterday was a burst of light and hope.

Our mission this year has really been to pull people together in a time of division, because we know connection is what really matters in the day to day. We’re looking forward to more of the same in the new year. Come as you are and say hi anytime. We’ll be happy to see you.
