The Log Cabin Quilter Created for members and guest to share ideas and creations. The Log Cabin Quilters was established in 1999. We are a quilting guild out of Harrisonville, Mo.

We meet every fourth Thursday of the month to discuss quilting ideas and have guest speakers on new techniques in quilting. Feel free to view our page and comment on projects you see or if you have quilting tips to share.

These are a few pictures from the bedturning we had with our Historical Society. A bedturning is a small private quilt show that young women in the late 1800's would do when they invited family or friends over to visit. They would display their quilts on their bed and turn or fold them down as the quilts story was told. So check out your local historical society to see what quilt stories they have, or better yet invite friends over for your own bedturning!!
