Town Hall Trinkets LLC

Town Hall Trinkets LLC I am a "Jacky of all trades” folk artist, estate consultant, sales, events, reseller and homsteadHER Hello, my name is Jacky Luetschwager. Thanks for looking.

Town Hall Trinkets, LLC has been a dream of mine since I started "picking" as a child. Selling, recreating, repurposing and creating was what I grew up doing with my Grandpa Kincaid and Mom, Christal (Dode) it's in my genes - 3rd generation junk dealer. When we moved to the country my husband built me a shop/studio - where I host events and farm sales since 1995. I started and continue to organize

the Ringle Harvest Day flea market voted one of the top flea markets in Wisconsin by Flea Market Style Magazine. I have an online estate sale group attached to this page where I sell 1 item or a whole farm for my clients. I look forward to new LIKES and talking about my collections.

Let’s talk antique wooden toy tops. Wooden tops were one of the earliest forms of toys. These are peg tops. They are turnip shaped featuring a metal or bass spindle. They are set into motion by winding a string tightly around the grooves in the wooden body and pulling it sharply to release. I believe these are from the late 60s possibly early 70s.

Let’s talk miniature pencil sharpeners. These collectible vintage metal diecast sharpeners are highly detailed. Often times they were made to feature an antique design in transportation, technology, furniture and appliances. The sharpeners often had moving parts in addition to the sharpener. These were popular in the 1970s through the mid 1980s. This lot will be available on Tuesday, June 2 at 7 PM in the group Town Hall Trinkets On Line Estate Sales.

Let’s talk quilt squares. There are so many forgotten varieties of squares and names to quilts. I had to look this one up and I believe it is to be a variation of fancy flowers. However, this quilter like so many others, used some creative liberties to make it her own. These squares are hand stitched. Yep, hand stitched. This is called hand piercing. Fabrics of choice were cottons, sewn together by a consistent, running stitch. These squares represent 1920 to 1930 depression era. You can always tell some thing is from that timeframe because things were made with bright vibrant colors, because everything was so depressing. Homemakers wanted things that were in their homes to reflect happiness. These will be available on Tuesday, June 2, at 7 PM in the Lot Drop Town Hall Trinkets On Line Estate Sales group.
