Big Apple has always been one of my go-to places when I’m craving some great food. Of course the pizza is awesome, but don’t sleep on their strombolis, pastas, salads, soups, and desserts! There’s plenty to choose from, and I’ve never had trouble finding something good.

Things are really starting to come together for the 7th Annual DOUSA NC Red Drum Tournament! There are still a few hiccups I’m working to iron out, but every day another piece of the puzzle falls into place.
Today’s Sponsor Spotlight is ENC Signs!
ENC Sign Co. stepped up this year by donating a banner for the event, but they didn’t stop there. They were also able to put together a pretty awesome custom map covering the Neuse River, Bay River, Pamlico River, and Pamlico Sound.
We’ll be using the map during the tournament to help our volunteer captains with planning, coordinating fishing areas, and getting everyone ready to put our participants on the red drum of a lifetime! 🎣🔥

What a great weekend on the Neuse River! 🎣🔥
Old drum season is officially in full swing. We ran a few trips this weekend, and the drags stayed screaming! We found a few keeper-sized reds, but the real stars were the old drum—they showed up and showed out.
There’s nothing quite like watching a rod load up, hearing that drag take off and seeing someone battle a Neuse River giant. The fishing is hot, and these fish are putting on a show!
